Our Mission and Values

A mission statement informs our guests and staff members what this company aspires to be. Our values help us move toward that goal and assist us in making decisions that positively impact our guests, our staff members and the company.

Our Mission

Firefly Southern Grill seeks to be the restaurant of choice for our guests and staff members. We will provide exceptional food, drinks and service to our guests while treating our staff members like the invaluable resource they are.

Our Values

We put the guest before ourselves, in any way possible.

We think of the guest at all times and look for ways to this value. We offer the guest the right-of-way. We make each dish perfect for each guest. We look the guest in the eye and use a sincere ‘please’ and ‘thank you’. We only use the word ‘no’ if it is followed by the word ‘problem.’ We use the word ‘may’ in place of the word ‘can.’

We honor our commitments.

We arrive at work on time and ready to serve. We hold our selves and each other accountable for fulfilling the requirements of our jobs. We do not promise more than we can deliver. We use the same words with our fellow staff members that we use with our guests.

We seek to be better at what we do every day.

Each day, we need to strive to be better at our jobs, better in our personal lives, and better citizens of the world. We assist our fellow staff members in their goals in and out of work. We are take pride in our personal and professional growth.

We provide honest feedback to each other at all levels of the company.

We know that no one works in a vacuum and everyone needs feedback. We use kind and caring words to express our feedback to each other. When something goes wrong, we seek to solve the problem promptly and understand the problem without blame. We depend upon each other to know what we can do better.
